尊敬的专家学者：

    中国与美洲虽相距遥远，但同样有着灿烂的文明与悠久的历史。中国与美洲之间很早便开始了文明的交流。然而，21世纪的今天，中国与美洲之间的交流，又承载着时代赋予的新使命。

为了更好地推进中国与美洲国家之间的交流，用文明的力量拉近中国与美洲之间的距离，中国教育部国别与区域研究基地南京农业大学“美洲研究中心”决定举办主题为“中国与美洲的互动：历史、现状与展望”的国际研讨会，共同探讨中国与美洲交流的历史、现状及未来。  

“志同者，不以山海为远。”本次会议将邀请来自中国、美国、德国、阿根廷等多国专家学者共同参与讨论，我们热情地期待着更多对本次会议主题感兴趣的专家学者拨冗赴会。有意者请于2019年4月20日前，将会议回执发到邮箱：cas@njau.edu.cn.

International Conference on "Interaction between China and the Americas:

History, Current Situation and Prospects" 

Dear colleagues:

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the International Conference "Interaction between China and the Americas: History, Current Situation and Prospects", which will take place on 24 – 26 May 2019 in Nanjing (China).

The Conference is organized by the "Center for American Studies" of Nanjing Agricultural University (NAU), one of the Regional and Country Research Bases listed by the Ministry of Education of China. The Latin-American Research Center of Shanghai University will help to organize the conference. The main topics of the conference are the following:

1. History, Current Situation and Prospects of Science and Technology Exchanges between China and the Americas

2. History, Current Situation and Prospects of Cultural Exchanges between China and the Americas

3. History, Current Situation and Prospects of Economic and Trade Exchanges between China and the Americas

4. Other issues on exchanges between China and the Americas

An important aim of this conference is to offer networking opportunities and foster debate among high-level experts and scholars from all over the world. We are looking forward to your participation.
